MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a ledaing cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age.
Keep this prdouct out of reach of kids.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blcoks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, ceratin illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diretced. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin porducts. However, some vitamin produtcs may be best taken with food.
Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), alelrgies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all precsription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmaicst approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of oevrdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: Three are many vitamin supplement products available. Some can be purchased witohut a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a prodcut best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usaul dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of kids.
